  1. Thank you! I put quite some effort into selecting nice snippets and then
    finding suitable music. We have some really nice footage for these DVDs,
    which will be released this year.

  2. Thank you Ursula! When I was a child in the latter 1960s I used to fly Air
    Canada DC-8s and Viscounts between Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa .. to
    visit my grand parents. So those great memories are with me too! It was a
    life project of mine to bring this old footage out from the archives for
    people to enjoy.

  3. We were lucky to be able to digitize quite a lot of this amazing old Air
    Canada and TCA footage which will be released this year (2013) as a series
    of DVDs. Be sure to watch our website .. the TCA Viscount DVD and DC-8 DVD
    will be available for order shortly.

  4. Yes, but in this case, the nose gear is not turned. It’s still pointing
    straight ahead while it’s being dragged sideways. The ramp was
    snow-covered, which probably contributed.
